Choosing is Losing, 100 36-exposure 35mm colour films shot by Marlene Haring, not developed, numbered and signed, 2006

The label on each film canister reads: KEEP IT OR DEVELOP IT! and records the date and time when the film was exposed by Marlene Haring in New York, Paris, Miami etc. Whoever acquires the film will have to decide whether to keep the potential captured in the canister or to release it by developing the film and revealing the images. The film packaging has a 'process before' date written on it when the manufacturer of the film advises the chemicals will start deteriorating.
