Society (INS) Inspectorate, Berlin,

INS surveillance of the city of Berlin was initiated
in 2004. Aerial Reconnaissance field operations,
carried out by Anthony Auerbach 3–28 May
2005, were specified as follows:
Identification and inspection
of sites of erasure, i.e.:
— locations where no trace can be found
of incidents or persons of interest
to the INS,
— where there is evidence
of attempts to cover or erase the
traces of incidents or persons,
— where there is evidence of
attempts to conceal the erasure.
A temporary Office of Interpretation was opened
in 2006. Public briefings were held
in Berlin, Endinburgh and New York.
A dossier was published in 2009.
