A lecture by Gelatin in which the artists
demonstrate and explain, inter alia, the theory of pimples, how to build
a skyscraper, how to use tools and how to escape from Australia; and including
presentation of 'Percutaneous Delights' (PS1, New York 1998), 'Human Elevator'
(Schindler House, Los Angeles 1999), 'Hugbox' (Liverpool Biennial 1999),
'Weltwunder' (Expo, Hannover 2000) and 'Balcony' (World Trade Center,
New York 2000) Gelatin explained their work with the aid of a green blackboard 2m x 5m. Tobias premièred 'laying an egg'. A text by David Medalla describing the talk was published in the Venice Biennale catalogue. Gelatin also made 'Furball' for an exhibition at the Royal College of Art while in London. click
