The presentation of Pantone Process Cyan at ACI comprised three interrelated elements:

Climax The video 'Climax' consists of material filmed by the artists which is grouped under specific headings (e.g. night scenes, seascapes, city architecture, etc.). The sections relate to the cinematic construction of a climax presenting possible scenes that precede an unseen dénouement. Without the harrowing narrative of the 'PPC Soundscape', however, these images might be nothing more than screensavers.

PPC Soundscape The montage presents a complex overlaying of newsreels, pieces of music and film dialogue. Like an audio kaleidoscope the 'Soundscape' provides a shifting frame for the video 'Climax'. Both soundscape and video supplement each other and offer changing combinations of meaning. The effect is similar to that which arises if one turns off the sound of the TV and instead listens to the radio or some CDs: suddenly some hidden meaning emerges that cannot be explained by either one of the elements.

PPC Map The 'Map' brings together some of the underlying concerns of Eichelmann, Schweiger and Rust and has been developed in collaboration with London based graphic designer Nicole Kapitza. The 'PPC Map' offers information on the effects of digitalisation on architecture, perception and capitalism. It presents a more detailed account of some of the topics that are mentioned in the soundscape.
